Mexican Halloween series counted needlepoint pattern
Cross-stitch and counted needlepoint patterns can be used without a printer.
You can open and zoom in on the workbook and embroidery chart on a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
For a detailed design, working from a screen can be more practical than printing as many as 40–50 pages. You only need a printer if you prefer to stitch from paper.
The image shows the source artwork. The chart will use your selected stitch dimensions and colour limit.
What is included in the price?
- The original motif on the cover, a separate preview of the actually stitchable grid.
- Printable, multi-page colour and black-and-white symbol charts with numbered stitch grids.
- Luca-S and DMC codes, swatches and symbols, with stitch counts and thread requirements for each color.
- Sample data, size chart, and a detailed visual user guide suitable for the chosen stitching technique.
The thread key lists stitch counts, not thread lengths or numbers of skeins.

What you need to supply for stitching
- Canvas or stramin with appropriate density for mono/interlock, with enough free margin for framing.
- Scissors and preferably a rectangular stretcher frame or a rolling frame.
- Embroidery needle suitable for the canvas and threads listed in the workbook's thread key, in sufficient quantity for your work.
- Phone, tablet, or computer; for paper use, a printer or printing option.
Check the thread colors with real thread before purchasing: the colors displayed on the screen and in the workbook are approximations.
From ordering to stitching

Continental stitch: A shows the front, B the thread path on the back. Work the row from right to left. All stitches on the front slant in the same direction. A rectangular frame is recommended.
