Counted needlepoint chart – The Lonely Cedar

The Lonely Cedar

The image shows the source artwork. The chart will use your selected stitch dimensions and colour limit.

What is included in the price?

One downloadable PDF pattern package created using your settings.

  • A colour preview image in the PDF.
  • Printable, multi-page colour and black-and-white symbol charts with numbered stitch grids.
  • Luca-S thread codes, colour swatches and symbols, with stitch counts for each colour.
  • Pattern details, a size table and brief instructions for reading the chart and joining its pages.

The thread key lists stitch counts, not thread lengths or numbers of skeins.

What does “ct” mean for fabric?

Ct is short for “count”: on Aida fabric, it is the number of stitches per inch (2.54 cm). So 14 ct means 14 stitches across 2.54 cm.

The higher the count, the smaller the stitches and the finished picture for the same number of stitches. Each chart square represents one full cross stitch.

The table shows the estimated stitched size of the same pattern on different Aida counts. Fabric must be obtained separately; these sizes exclude borders and extra fabric for framing.

€ 2,71 · Digital product with no shipping fee.

You receive a digital PDF only. We do not send fabric, needles, thread, a printed pattern or finished embroidery.

Once payment is confirmed and the chart is ready, you can download the PDF from your account.

What you need to supply for stitching

  • Blank Aida fabric in a suitable count, with enough extra fabric for borders and framing.
  • An embroidery needle suitable for your fabric and the threads listed in the PDF key, in sufficient quantities for your project.
  • Scissors; an embroidery hoop or frame if desired.
  • A PDF reader on a phone, tablet or computer; access to a printer if you prefer a paper copy.

Check the colours against real thread before buying: colours shown on screen and in the PDF are approximate.
